Vstream: terms, policies and disclaimers
Last updated: October 17, 2026
Vstream is the live-streaming app from Memoryq. These terms apply when you use the Vstream app for Android and the streaming services at memoryq.com that it connects to. They add to the Memoryq Terms of Service and Privacy Policy; where they differ, this page applies to streaming. By tapping "I agree" or using Vstream, you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use Vstream.

1. Terms of Use
- Age. You must be at least 18 years old to broadcast with Vstream.
- Your account. You need a Memoryq account. Keep your password and stream keys private; you are responsible for everything streamed with your account or your keys.
- Free channels. When you stream to Memoryq, Vstream picks a free live channel for you and gives you a stream key. Channels are shared: a channel you have not used for a while is given back, and when every channel is busy you may have to wait. We do not promise that a channel will always be available.
- Fair use. Do not try to get around limits, use other people's keys, overload the service, or use Vstream to send anything other than your own live stream.
- Ending. You can stop using Vstream and delete your account at any time. We may stop a stream, take back a channel, or suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts other people at risk.
- Changes. We may change Vstream and these terms. If we do, we will update the date above and, for important changes, ask you to agree again in the app.
2. Streaming rules
You are responsible for everything you stream. Do not stream:
- anything illegal where you are or where your viewers are;
- sexual content involving anyone under 18 – ever. We report it to the authorities;
- sexually explicit content or nudity;
- threats, harassment, hate against people for who they are, or encouragement of violence or self-harm;
- dangerous acts that could get you or others hurt;
- other people's private information, or people who have not agreed to be filmed where they have a right to privacy;
- scams, spam, malware or impersonation of someone else;
- content you do not have the rights to (see Copyright).
We may end a stream, remove recordings and suspend accounts that break these rules. Report a stream to support@memoryq.com.
3. Privacy
- Camera and microphone. Vstream uses them only while you are previewing or live. While live, a notification is shown and the stream keeps running when the screen is off, until you tap Stop.
- What goes where. When Memoryq is your destination, your video and sound go to memoryq.com and are shown publicly to anyone watching that channel. When you use your own server, they go only to that server; we do not see them.
- What we keep. Your account details, the channel you used and when, your stream title, and the "also stream to" destinations you saved (the stream keys are stored on our server so we can send your stream on, and are never shown back in full). Your live video is passed through to viewers and is not saved as a recording.
- On your phone. Your sign-in, settings and your own-server key are kept in the app's private storage on your phone.
- No ads, no selling. Vstream has no advertising and we do not sell your data.
- Deleting. Remove a saved destination at any time in Settings. Deleting your Memoryq account deletes your destinations and channel claim. More in the Memoryq Privacy Policy.
4. Copyright and music
Stream only what you own or have permission to use. Playing commercial music, films, sports or TV in your stream usually needs a licence, and other platforms may mute or end streams that contain it. If you believe a stream on Memoryq infringes your copyright, send us the details (what the work is, the channel and time, and your contact information) at support@memoryq.com. We remove infringing streams and suspend repeat infringers.
5. Other platforms and your own server
- Not affiliated. Vstream and Memoryq are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by X, Meta (Facebook), Twitch, Google (YouTube) or TikTok. Their names are used only to show where you can send your stream, and belong to their owners.
- Their rules apply. When you send your stream to another platform, you must follow that platform's own terms and community rules. They may need you to have a verified account, a minimum number of followers or live access first (for example, TikTok LIVE access or X Media Studio).
- Your keys. You get stream keys from those platforms and enter them yourself. Anyone with a key can stream as you, so keep them private and reset them on the platform if they leak.
- How it works. "Also stream to" only works when Memoryq is your destination: our server copies your live stream to the platforms you turned on. A platform may refuse the stream, end it, or change its settings; we cannot control that and do not promise that a copy will start or stay up.
- Your own server. If you turn on "Use my own server", Vstream sends your stream straight to the RTMP address you enter. You are responsible for that server, who can watch it, and what it does with your stream. Memoryq is not involved.
6. Disclaimers and safety
Do not stream while driving or doing anything else that needs your full attention. Stay aware of your surroundings.
Recording laws. In many places it is illegal to record or broadcast people, or their conversations, without their consent. Ask before you stream other people, and follow the rules of the place you are in.
Data use. Streaming uses a lot of mobile data (about 1–2 GB per hour at the default quality). Your carrier's charges are your responsibility.
Vstream is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that streams will reach viewers or other platforms. To the extent the law allows, Memoryq is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, lost streams, lost audiences or lost income, or for content streamed by other people, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the last 12 months. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. You agree to cover our reasonable losses if a claim is made against us because of what you streamed or because you broke these terms.
