Last updated: October 13, 2026

This policy explains what information Memoryq collects when you use the Memoryq app for Android and the website memoryq.com (together, "Memoryq"), how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions: support@memoryq.com.

Information you give us

Information created when you use Memoryq

Advertising in the Android app

The Android app shows ads provided by Google AdMob. Google may collect and use information such as your device's advertising ID, IP address and app interactions to show and measure ads. You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads in your Android settings. Learn more in how Google uses information from apps that use its services. The website does not show ads.

AI features

Memoryq uses OpenAI to summarize public news articles and to write and voice what the Memoryq Radio DJ says. When you request a song on the radio, your display name and the song title may be sent to OpenAI so the DJ can give you a shout-out on air. We do not send your chats, private messages, calls or photos to AI services. AI-written news summaries and DJ lines can contain mistakes.

How we use information

Who can see your information

We do not sell your personal information.

Deleting your account

You can ask us to delete your account and its data at any time:

We complete deletion requests within 30 days. We delete your account, profile and photos, remove you from chats and groups, and delete the groups you own. Copies of messages you sent may remain in other people's conversations, and we may keep limited records when the law requires it.

How long we keep information

We keep your information while your account exists. Call history and notifications are kept for a limited time. When your account is deleted, its data is removed as described above.

Security

Memoryq uses encrypted connections (HTTPS) on memoryq.com and stores passwords only as salted hashes. No service is perfectly secure, so please use a password you do not use anywhere else.

Children

Memoryq is not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices and rights

You can view and change your profile at any time, remove your photos, and request deletion of your account. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your information, or to object to some uses. Contact support@memoryq.com and we will help.

Changes to this policy
